I’m so thankful for the Parks & Rec episode that gave us Galentine’s Day, a day to celebrate female friendship. We tend to emphasize maintaining romantic relationships, but I think we need more ways to strengthen our platonic relationships too.

Galentine’s Day is a great way of doing that. It doesn’t mean we can’t have a romantic Valentine’s Day, but sometimes you need a night with your gal pals.

Strawberry gin and tonic on a pink surface with strawberries and lemons in the background.
    Strawberry Gin & Tonic
In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with serving gin and tonics. Even for those who don’t love gin, the strawberries give a nice strong flavor that helps soften the botanicals of the gin.

    Strawberry Limoncello Margarita
This is a strawberry lemonade in margarita form! Like Goldilocks’ taste, it’s not too sweet, not too sour, it’s just right.
