This Peach Cobbler Cocktail takes a beloved summer dessert and transforms it into a delicious cocktail perfect for any at-home happy hour! It’s very easy to make a big batch for a party or summer soiree!

I love taking beloved and nostalgic desserts and transforming them into cocktails and this Peach Cobbler Cocktail is no different. I also have created cocktails around orange creamsicles, lemon cheesecake, fluffernutter sandwiches, strawberry shortcake, and pecan pie if you’d like to give them a try as well.
What I love about this recipe is that, unlike other cocktails with the same name, this one contains no dairy, which means it can easily be batched for a large crowd without fear of curdled milk. How happy would your guests be if you brought out a big pitcher of this after a delicious dinner? I may be biased, but pretty happy if you ask me.

Ingredient Notes

Maple syrup and crushed granola for the rim – You can also use honey to help the granola stay in place on the rim if you don’t have maple syrup hanging around.
Peaches – Juicy, fresh peaches in the middle of summer are the best for this recipe since they’ll give the most amount of juice and flavor. However, there is nothing wrong with using thawed, frozen peaches if you must.
Whipped cream vodka – This is a key element that gives a feel of having a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream with your peach cobbler. Vanilla vodka can be substituted, but I prefer the whipped cream vodka, which should be fairly easy to find.
Peach schnapps – This helps intensify the peach flavor and adds a little sweetness to the drink. Try to opt for a higher quality bottle, if possible for the best taste. If you can’t find any, try using a high quality triple sec, such as Cointreau.
Amaretto – This is another key element to this drink. The nutty flavor gives off the baked flavor of a peach cobbler. Amaretto is excellent at doing this in cocktails; it was the secret ingredient in my Sugar Cookie Martini that gave it its “baked” quality.
Lemon juice – In cocktails, when there is sweetness it generally needs to be balanced with another flavor and tart lemon juice does just that in this drink. Use freshly squeezed for the best flavor. The bottled can give an off flavor to the drink.
Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Roll the rim of your cocktail glass in maple syrup followed by the crushed granola. Allow the glass to chill in the fridge while you assemble your drink. Add the fresh peach slices to the bottom of an empty cocktail shaker and muddle until the juices are fully released.

Step 2: Add the whipped cream vodka, peach schnapps, amaretto, and lemon juice to the shaker.

Step 3: Fill the shaker with ice and shake until well chilled. Then, strain into the chilled cocktail glass.

Step 4: Garnish with an extra peach slice on a cocktail pick if desired.
Expert Tips
- No cocktail shaker? No problem – just use a mason jar and a lid. When ready to strain into the glass, lift one side of the lid and pour through the gap to strain.
- Smash your granola in a ziplock bag with a rolling pin or pulse in a food processor until finely crushed.
Variations
Try using peach vodka instead of whipped cream vodka to intensify the peach flavor. Or, you can do a 50/50 split between the two. You can also do this with peach whiskey if you prefer.
Instead of amaretto, which gives an almond-like flavor, try something like Frangelico, which has a hazelnut flavor that would work wonderfully in this drink.
If you want a creamy drink, try adding a touch of heavy cream or coconut milk. You could also opt for a cream liqueur such as Baileys or RumChata for an extra decadent drink.
If you don’t have or want to use granola for the rim, you can also try crushed graham crackers or brown sugar.
How to Make a Big Batch for a Crowd
You can easily make a big batch of this Peach Cobbler Cocktail recipe. Simply, multiply the number of servings you want with the measurements. I’ve included measurements for serving 8 in the recipe card.
First, you’ll want to muddle your peaches in a large pitcher with a long wooden spoon, or you can puree them in a blender or food processor. Then, add the rest of your ingredients and chill.
If you’re serving the cocktail right away and it doesn’t have time to chill in the fridge, pour each serving from the pitcher into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Then, shake well and strain into your guest’s glasses.
Prepping a Big Batch Ahead
You can certainly prep a big batch of this recipe ahead. After following the directions that I’ve outlined above for making a big batch, chill in the fridge up to 1 day in advance.
You can skip the cocktail shaker step as the batch will already be chilled. Make sure to give the pitcher a very good stir prior to serving as the peach puree can settle at the bottom.
You can also have your cocktail glasses ready to go by pre-rimming them and chilling them in the fridge if you have room. If you don’t have enough space to chill the glasses that have been rimmed, you should wait until closer to serving time as the maple syrup can begin to run down the side of the glass if it is particularly warm where you are serving them.
