They use milk that has been frothed or foamed

The general ratio is 1-2 ounces espresso: 8-15 ounces milk.

Now let's look at Iced Coffees

Iced coffee is brewed coffee based with ice and milk

Sometimes consumed plain black, but often some sort of milk is used - it can be frothed or not

Uses much less milk than iced lattes
