Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce espresso
  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur (Kahlúa)
  • ¾ ounce pumpkin spice syrup (homemade syrup or store-bought syrup)
  • Coffee beans and/or cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, and syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  • Add ice and shake until well chilled - at least 30 seconds.
  • Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish, if desired.

Notes

Tips:
  • Add the ice after adding the ingredients to the cocktail shaker to prevent excess dilution from the melting ice.
  • For an extra cold espresso martini, chill your martini glasses in the freezer for at least 15 minutes prior to making the drink.
  • Try rimming the glass in sugar and pumpkin pie spice. First, roll the glass in maple syrup or caramel sauce and then roll in the mixture.
  • For a less sweet cocktail, decrease the amount of syrup and/or increase the amount of espresso.
  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use coffee vodka instead of regular vodka.
