Pomegranate Sour Cocktail Recipe

This pomegranate sour is made with pomegranate liqueur, whiskey, simple syrup, lemon juice, and egg whites. It's the perfect spin on the classic whiskey sour.

- 1 ½ ounces bourbon
- ¾ ounces pomegranate liqueur see notes
- ¾ ounces of simple syrup see notes
- ¾ ounces lemon juice
- 1 egg white
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add bourbon, pomegranate liqueur/juice, simple syrup, lemon juice, and egg white.
Shake until the entire shaker is cold, about 20 seconds.
Strain the cocktail through a fine-mesh strainer into a coupe or martini glass. Garnish with lemon and serve.
Easy swaps:
- If you can't find pomegranate liqueur, you can substitute pomegranate juice in the same amount.
- If you don't want to make your own simple syrup, you can use agave nectar in the same amount.
