Ingredients

  • 2 -3 fresh strawberries (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 ½ ounces whipped cream vodka
  • 1 ounce amaretto
  • ¼ ounce lemon juice

Instructions

  • Add the strawberries to an empty cocktail shaker and muddle until all of the berry juice is released.
  • Add the vodka, amaretto, lemon juice, and ice cubes. Shake until well chilled.
  • Strain into a coupe or martini glass and garnish with a strawberry on a cocktail pick if desired.

Notes

To serve 8:
  • 16-24 strawberries (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 ½ cups whipped cream vodka
  • 1 cup amaretto
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
Muddle strawberries in a large pitcher with a wooden spoon or puree them in a blender.
Add the remaining ingredients to the pitcher and stir.
Chill the mixture in the fridge for up to 1 day in advance; if you don’t have time to chill, shake individual servings with ice and strain into glasses.
Stir well before serving to ensure the ingredients are evenly dispersed.
Expert tips:
  • Want a sweeter cocktail? Add a bit of simple syrup (like my elderflower syrup) or a bit of strawberry jam along with the other ingredients in the shaker.
  • If it’s too sweet, add extra lemon juice to balance.
