Peach Mule Recipe

Fresh peaches, zingy lime, whipped cream vodka, and spicy ginger beer come together in a peaches and cream twist on the classic cocktail.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ fresh peach chopped (plus extra slices for garnish)
  • ½ ounce lime juice
  • 2 ounces whipped cream vodka
  • 4-5 ounces ginger beer

Instructions
 

  • Add the chopped peaches, lime juice, and vodka to a cocktail shaker.
  • Muddle until the peaches are broken down and juicy. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
  • Pour into a copper mug (or cocktail glass) filled with fresh ice. (Put through a fine mesh strainer when you add to the mug if you don’t like peach pulp.)
  • Top with ginger beer, stir gently, and garnish with extra peach slices if desired.

Notes

Batch of 8 cocktails:
4 peaches, pits removed (skin optional)
4 ounces lime juice
2 cups whipped cream vodka
3-4 cups ginger beer
Blend the peaches, lime juice, and vodka in a blender.
Strain into a pitcher over ice (or not if you don’t mind peach pulp), and top with ginger beer just before serving. 
Prep in Advance:
Blend the peaches, lime juice, and vodka in a blender.
Strain into a pitcher over ice (or not if you don’t mind peach pulp) and store in the fridge up to 1 day in advance. 
Top with ginger beer when ready to serve.
