2 ounces Cointreau orange liqueur 1 ounce orange juice 3 ounces prosecco (dry or brut) 1 ounce soda water (seltzer or club soda) Orange slice or peel for garnish (optional)
Add the Cointreau and orange juice to a wine glass filled with ice.
Top with prosecco and soda water.
Garnish with an orange slice, if desired.
To make a Cointreau Spritz into a mimosa, omit the soda water and use equal parts orange juice and prosecco.
For a batch of 8 cocktails:
2 cups Cointreau
1 cup orange juice
1 bottle dry prosecco (750 ml bottle)
1 cup soda water
Orange slices for garnish (optional)
Mix the Cointreau and orange juice in large container such as a pitcher or punch bowl up to 1 day in advance.
Add the prosecco and soda water just prior to serving. Avoid adding ice to the pitcher; instead use ice in the glasses to keep cool.
If you’re serving outside, you can nestle the pitcher in a large bucket of ice to keep cool without dilution.
