Combine the butter, garlic, fresh herbs, and cheese together making a compound butter. Spread the herb and garlic butter on each slice.
Arrange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray and bake for 3-4 minutes or until your desired level of toastiness. Serve immediately.
Notes
How to store leftover garlic bread:
Keep garlic bread in an airtight container for 1-2 days. To rewarm, simply repeat the same air fryer temperature and time as a recipe.
If bread has gone stale, use as croutons or crush in a food processor to make breadcrumbs.
How to freeze garlic bread:
Wrap each slice in plastic wrap followed by a layer of aluminum foil and place in a freezer bag. Make sure to get as much as out of the bag as possible. You can do this with the slices of bread right after you butter them or you can do it after you toast the bread.
You can keep homemade garlic bread in the freezer for up to 6 months, but the quality is best within 3 months.
How to make air fryer garlic bread from frozen:
Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees F and cook for 7-8 minutes.
Optional: if your garlic bread doesn't include cheese, flip halfway through the time.
