- 1 ounce lime juice
- Lime slice for garnish (optional)
Moisten the rim of the margarita glass with a lime wedge and roll in the tajin or salt, if desired.
Add the tequila, Midori, and lime juice to an empty cocktail shaker.
Add ice and shake until well chilled.
Strain into the glass and garnish with a lime slice, if desired.
For a batch of 8 Midori Margaritas:
- 1 ½ cups tequila
- 1 cup Midori
- 1 cup lime juice
- Tajin for rims and lime slices for garnish, optional
Instructions/tips for making a batch:
- Mix the ingredients in a large pitcher: Combine the tequila, Midori, and lime juice in a large pitcher and stir well to combine. Allow guests to roll their glass rims in lime juice and tajin (or salt) before pouring.
- For best taste, make your Midori Margarita pitcher only up to 1 day in advance and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Keep in mind that the ice will dilute the drink over time, so opt to chill the fridge in advance and/or serve on the rocks. If you’re serving the margaritas outside, you can nestle the pitcher in a large bucket of ice to keep cool without dilution.
