Pomegranate Whiskey Sour Cocktail

This pomegranate whiskey sour is made with pomegranate liqueur, whiskey, simple syrup, lemon juice, and egg whites. It’s the perfect spin on the classic whiskey sour.

Whiskey Pomegranate liqueur (or juice) Simple syrup Lemon juice Egg white

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add bourbon, pomegranate liqueur/juice, simple syrup, lemon juice, and egg white.

Shake until the entire shaker is cold, about 20 seconds.

Strain the cocktail through a fine-mesh strainer into a coupe or martini glass. Garnish with lemon and serve.

Bonus tip -  You can use a fresh egg white, or you can use egg whites in the carton. Make sure you’re not getting the ones that have a touch of yolk in the carton – those will not work.  Egg whites in the carton are pasteurized making them safer than fresh egg whites.
