The Perfect Paper Plane Cocktail is a deliciously balanced mix of amaro, Aperol, whiskey, and lemon juice. This cocktail is perfect for those who love a bold and complex flavor profile.

What you need to make the cocktail:

Add the bourbon whiskey and amaro to an empty cocktail shaker.

Tip: Always add your liquids to an empty cocktail shaker and then add ice right before shaking. This will prevent drink dilution.

Add lemon juice followed by the Aperol to the cocktail shaker.

Add ice and shake until well chilled. Strain the Paper Plane into a cocktail glass. (I like using coupe glasses.)

To make a bird-like garnish, cut a lemon peel into a diamond then cut a slit in the middle. Fold in half and add to the rim of the glass using the slit to stabilize.
