Raspberry Chambord Sour Cocktail

This raspberry chambord cocktail recipe has the perfect balance of tart and sweet.  It's made with egg whites for a frothy texture.  If an egg white in a cocktail scares you, read on - I have some tips to make it less so.

Ingredients needed:

Raw egg whites are generally pretty safe in cocktails.  For extra precaution, you can buy pasteurized egg whites in a carton.

If that still doesn't interest you or you want a vegan option, you can substitute 2-3 tablespoons of the liquid from canned chickpeas.

Step 1: Shake all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker WITHOUT ice.

Step 2: Add ice and shake well again.  Double shaking with and without ice helps create a more airy foam top.

Step 3: Strain into a cocktail glass and top with raspberries for garnish.
