Smoky Pineapple Mezcal Sour Recipe

Sip on the perfect blend of smoky and sweet with this Smoky Pineapple Mezcal Sour. Featuring zesty lime, pineapple juice, and rich mezcal, it's an unforgettable twist on the classic sour cocktail.

Ingredients needed:

Raw egg whites are generally pretty safe in cocktails.  For extra precaution, you can buy pasteurized egg whites in a carton. 

If that still doesn't interest you or you want a vegan option, you can substitute 2-3 tablespoons of the liquid from canned chickpeas (aka aquafaba).

Add the mezcal and pineapple and lime juices to an empty cocktail shaker. 

Add the simple syrup and egg white, then shake until frothy. 

Then, add ice and shake again until well chilled. Double shaking like this gives a fluffier texture.

Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a lime twist.
