Shrimp Taco Recipe: Bang Bang Style

This taco recipe with bang bang shrimp is the best combination – crunchy, salty, sweet, spicy, and creamy!
For the slaw you'll need: – 1 bag (12 oz.) bag of slaw – 1 bell pepper, sliced – 2 tbsp. lime juice – 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar – 1 tsp. salt – 1 tbsp. honey or sugar – 2 tbsp. cilantro, chopped
For the oven-fried shrimp you'll need: – Cooking spray or other oil for brushing – 1 lb. large shrimp, deveined and shelled – 1/3 cup flour – 2 eggs, beaten – 3 1/2 cups of crushed cornflakes
For the bang bang sauce you'll need: – 4 tbsp. mayonnaise – 1 tbsp. sweet chili sauce – 2 tsp. sriracha (or to taste for desired spiciness) And you'll need 12 tortillas (corn or flour)
Whisk together the lime juice, vinegar, salt, honey, and cilantro. Pour over the slaw mixture and bell peppers. Top with chopped cilantro.
Roll the shrimp in flour, then egg, then crushed cornflakes. Spray or brush with oil. Bake on a lined sheet pan at 400 degrees for 5 minutes, flip, then additional 5 minutes or until cooked through.
Make bang bang sauce by combining together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a small bowl.
Assemble tacos by layering a warm tortilla with slaw, then shrimp, followed by a drizzle of bang bang sauce. Serve with extra slaw on the side.
