Frothy Negroni Sour Recipe

agratefulmeal.com

Take your Negroni to the next level with this Frothy Negroni Sour recipe. The addition of egg white and lemon to the campari, gin, and sweet vermouth creates a unique twist to the classic Negroni.

Ingredients needed:

Raw egg whites are generally pretty safe in cocktails.  For extra precaution, you can buy pasteurized egg whites in a carton.

If that still doesn't interest you or you want a vegan option, you can substitute 2-3 tablespoons of the liquid from canned chickpeas (aka aquafaba).

Add the Campari, gin, sweet vermouth, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white to an empty cocktail shaker.

Shake without ice ("dry shake") and then add ice to the shaker.

Shake again with the ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Top with a fresh or dried orange slice.
