Chicken Marsala Meatballs

These chicken marsala meatballs have all the delicious flavors of chicken marsala rolled into a meatball. They work great for dinner paired with a couple of side dishes. Or, they also make an easy crowd-pleasing appetizer for any party or gathering.

Baby bella mushrooms Olive oil Ground chicken Egg Panko breadcrumbs Parmesan cheese Garlic powder Onion powder Chicken stock Marsala wine Cornstarch

Ingredients

Pulse mushrooms in a food processor and then sauté to remove water.

Mix together ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, parmesan cheese, and seasonings. 

Add sautéed ground mushrooms. Roll meatballs and bake.

Meanwhile reduce marsala wine and chicken stock. If the sauce needs thickening, add in cornstarch dissolved in cold water. 

Add meatballs to sauce to coat and serve. 

About Marsala Wine Marsala wine is a Sicilian fortified wine that is higher in alcohol content. For cooking, a $10 entry level quality Marsala wine will do well.
